Requirements?
Captain or Boat Owner must complete their HMF Boat MemberProfile.You will not be able to publish your boat for bookings until all Profile questions have been answered. To receive trip bookings, the Captains must Download and Use the “FREE” HMF Smart Phone Mobile Application(iOS and Android). The Captain is required to respond by Accepting or Declining all HMF trip offerings or availability inquiries in a timely manner. Always perform required and routine safety inspections and keep your boat well maintained, clean and your fishing gear in top operating condition. Please provide Boat Safety and Fighting Chair explanations to the customers prior to the trip

How are the Trips Paid?
HMF collects only your established trip deposit fee from the customer at the time of the on line trip booking. The customer will be paying you directly upon arrival for the balance of the trip, or you can charge them after the trip is over (better chance they will include a tip for you), but that is completely up to you. From the original Trip Deposit Fees, HMF will only be retaining the percentage amount of commissions that you have granted us, and the balance of the deposit will be sent on to the Boat Member.
After the trip is over, you are free to solicit the customers directly for future business.
Until then, all anglers and trip bookings provided to our boat members are the absolute property of Hawaiian Island Enterprises, LLC and not the boat member. No “Pre -Trip or “During the Trip” customer solicitation is permitted, as this is a direct violation of our HMF Boat Member Code of Conduct.
Cancellations and No Shows?
Please refer to the Boat Members section located in the Main Menu drop down bar of this website. There you will find all of the detailed answers to how our program works and how our Boat Members are always protected and guaranteed their trip cancellation fees. Basically, our HMF required booking deposit is equal to your trip cancellation fees. If a customer cancels or no shows, we forward ALL OF THE DEPOSIT MONEY to you!
